Step into the damp and crumbling shoes of a real romanticised medieval outlaw and experience the timeless adventures of a man forced to wait for three darks hungry in the cold and dark.

In this game, you will determine what series of events brought you to this dire stage of your life, and you’ll set goals that you’ll never reach and boundaries you will undoubtedly pass. You’ll create a world to live in that you’ll soil with your presence and mark the trundling passage of time with quaint notations of places you can never go again and regions that are too dangerous even for you to pass through.

You’ll take each week as it comes, pouncing on opportunities for a chance to profit, keeping your head down to avoid the many social spats that might turn violent, and recoil from the cruel hand of fate tossing ruinous events at you like soiled goods at a fool in stocks.

You will almost certainly die, either captured, expiring of natural causes, or simply fading away into history without so much as a footnote. But if you’re lucky, and you’re smart, and the pieces all line up in the perfect way you might just survive. Though after everything you will have been through, will there be anything left for you from where you came?

This game is designed to be played on your own, with a regular deck of cards and something you can write in. It takes a couple of hours to play and should be completed in one session preferably.
